Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

Q. Do you add images and/or collectionsfrequently?

A. We do add images frequently. We have a ComingAttractions page which shows the images which will soon be available on this site, and lists a schedule for their introduction.

Q. Do you sell your images at art and/or craft shows?

A. No, we sell only through the Internet, as well as upscale gift shops in New York and Florida. This allows us to keep our overhead costs low, and to sell our images and services at reasonable prices.

Q. I have heard that digitally-printed images start to fade after only a year or two. Is this true? What about your images?

A. While this is true of work printed with consumer-grade equipment, we use equipment designed for use by professional photographers. In addition, we use only lightfast inks and papers which have been independently tested. The results of these tests show that our images will last 24-26 years under normal indoor display conditions before beginning to fade. This is equal to, or better than, the performance of conventional photographic prints.

Q. Is it possible to obtain the #1 image of a series?

A. All of our images are signed and numbered limited editions of 250. Because many customers are interested in obtaining the very first image of a given series, the #1 image is available for purchase via auction at eBay Auctions. The schedule shown on the Coming Attractions The Coming Attractions page lists the beginning date for each image's auction. The duration of the auction is 7 days. On the day after the #1 image auction ends, the image will appear on this site in one of the galleries and will be available for general purchase.

Q. Do you ever discount your images or have a sale?

A. Just for the fun of it, every week we pick 2 images from our collections to be auctioned at eBay Auctions. Why? It increases our exposure and, even though our prices are very reasonable, it provides a fun way for some of our customers to obtain one of our images at a bargain price. Q. What's the best way to obtain frames that fit the "Frame-Ready" packages?

A. That easy! Here are two options:

  1. Your local Wal-Mart or Target has an amazing selection of very nice standard-sized frames. For example, I purchased a beautiful 14 X 18 inch oak frame, complete with glass, for under $20. Now I purchase framing materials from wholesalers at prices lower than you can get, but I would have to pay about $40 wholesale for that frame that Wal-Mart retails for $20. There must really be something to the power of quantity buying!
  2. If you would like a large selection of beautiful frames in all price ranges, check out the American Frame Web site. You can access it by clicking here. Their "Frame Shop" on their Web site will walk you through the purchase of frames and plexiglass. (You don't need mounting board or mats, since they are part of the "Frame-Ready" package.)

If you want the ultimate in convenience, however, order your image in one of our "fully-framed" packages. It comes out of the box ready to hang!
