Frequently-Asked-Questions (FAQ)
1. What's this page all about?
A. It's designed to let those who have retired from the Fredonia Central School District bring other retirees up-to-date on where they are and what's going on in their lives.
2. How can I participate?
A. Easy. Send your information to Dick Steinfeldt at richst@steinfeldt.com. Here are some ideas:
1) What did you do at FCSD, and what year did you retire. (As we get more folks involved, someone may not recognize you without this information.)
2) Did you relocate after retiring? Where? Why? Would you like to share your "snail mail" address or phone number? Do you have a picture of the new digs? (I've got plenty of space available, so don't feel you need to be shy with photos! Just attach to an email to me.) Now that you've been there a while, would you recommend it to other retirees? Why? What do you miss most/least about WNY?
3) Are you involved in a new occupation? Doing volunteer work? Learning a new skill? Involved in a neat hobby? How do you fill your days?
4) What's up with your kids? Many of us watched each others kids grow up, and would like to know where they are, what they're doing, etc. Got pictures? Send 'em along!
5) One of the joys of having kids is that they also have kids. Tell us about your grandchildren and yes, pictures are welcome.
6) Taken any interesting trips? Tell us about your travel, and don't forget to include pictures!
7) Don't forget to include info about your spouse. We all met at faculty parties, and we're interested in them, too.
8) What's coming up for you? Planning a trip to someplace interesting? What are you looking forward to?
9) Do you know of any websites which might be of value/interest to the rest of us? Send a short description and the URL and I'll creat a list of "links" for us all to use.
3. I know the email address of a Fredonia retiree who is not listed on the main page. How can I get them involved?
A. Send the email address to richst@steinfeldt.com. Dick will contact them with information about this site.
4. What is the web address (URL) for this site?
5. Why not just add this information to the "Alumni" section of the FCSD website?
A. That site is available to students and the public. This site can only be reached by using the above URL. Only those people who know the URL can get to this site.
6. I'd like to send some photos, but I've never emailed a photo before. Can you give me some advice?
